This year AAPA will be celebrating our 25th anniversary, and what a great year it will be! We've been awarded the gold medal in "Best of the Press" for the best dance studio in the area, having previously won silver 2 years in a row.  Even more exciting news, a group of our dancers will be performing during the 2012 London Olympics!

AAPA was selected among many performing groups across the country to perform 2 shows in and around London during the 3rd week of the 2012 Olympics!  We are the ONLY studio in South Jersey who has this honor.  17 of our best dancers are working hard to represent AAPA
and the community. Since our studio was selected, we will have another opportunity to perform during the next Olympics in 2016 in Brazil. AAPA is already grooming its younger dancers for that honor.

All of our teachers will be back and they're excited to get started. We will be offering two new classes: Acting for Musical Theater, which will combine our theater dance and also acting lessons and Acting for Kids, which is geared toward the 9 - 12 yr olds.  

Our actors have been very successful performing wih the Surflight Theater in Long Beach Island, East Lynne Theater Company in Cape May, Ocean City Theater Company, Margate Players, Sojourn Productions and with the Millenium Players, along with their middle school and high school productions.

Our dancers last year performed for the MAPS foundation at the Taj Mahal and at the Atlantic City Country Club benefiting the American Cancer Society.  Our competition team continues to bring home high gold and choreography awards and our Irish dancers placed 4th at Nationals, placed in the top 3 for their age groups and qualified for the world championship with their celi team.
